Long-only · No leverage · Paper first

Rules-based investing that shows its work.

Rules-based investing - backtested with real costs and tracked in public.

Every strategy is tested with fees, spread, slippage and market impact included, runs on paper before anything else, and explains each trade in plain English. Real money only moves when you decide.

The problem

Most strategy tools flatter you. Ours is built to doubt.

A backtest that ignores costs, or a signal you can't inspect, isn't evidence. Traderly is designed around the questions a sceptic would ask first.

The usual way

  • Frictionless backtests. No fees, no spread, no slippage — so small edges look big.
  • Curve-fitted to the past. Parameters tuned on the same data used to judge them.
  • Black-box signals. A buy arrow with no reason you can check.
  • Failures quietly deleted. You only ever see the survivors.

The Traderly way

  • Costs charged on every simulated fill — fees, half-spread, slippage and size-based market impact.
  • Judged on data it never saw. Out-of-sample checks reject in-sample stars.
  • Explicit rules, explained. Each trade comes with the rule that fired, in plain English.
  • Rejections stay on record. So you can see what was tried, not just what worked.

How it works

Three steps. You hold the last one.

  1. 01

    Choose your universe

Start from liquid equities, gold, silver and crypto across several markets. Long-only, no leverage, nothing you'd need to short.

    Rules you can read
  2. 02

Backtest with real costs, then paper trade

Strategies are tested with realistic fees, spread, slippage and impact, checked out-of-sample, and then run in paper mode against live prices before anything else.

    Paper first, always
  3. 03

Review every trade. Go live when you decide.

Each entry and exit comes with a plain-language explanation of which rule fired and why. Nothing moves to real money without your explicit say-so.

    You stay in control

Features

Serious tooling, without the theatre.

Everything is built to answer one question honestly: would this rule have held up once costs and fresh data were involved?

Realistic-cost backtesting

Brokerage, exchange fees and taxes, half-spread, slippage and square-root market impact are charged on every simulated fill.

Paper-first, public track record

New strategies trade on paper against live prices. Their record is append-only — entries are added, never edited or removed.

Long-only, no leverage

No short selling, no derivatives and no borrowed money. A deliberately conservative rule set; you remain the judge.

Plain-English explanations

Strategies are deterministic rules. A language model only translates what the rule did into a sentence you can read — it doesn't make the call.

Risk controls & kill switch

Per-asset sizing limits, exit backstops and a single switch that halts new orders across every strategy, immediately.

Only manages what it opened

Every order is tagged with its origin. The system exits only positions it opened itself — your other holdings are never touched.

Multi-venue from day one

One workspace, one set of rules and the same cost discipline across Indian equities, precious metals, crypto spot and US stocks.

Transparency

Principles we'd rather publish than promise.

Principle 1

Costs are always included

No result is shown before costs alone. If a strategy only works when trading is free, it doesn't work.

Principle 2

Out-of-sample or it didn't happen

Strategies are ranked only on data held back from tuning. Strong in-sample, weak out-of-sample is treated as overfitting and rejected.

Principle 3

Rejected strategies stay on record

Every version tested keeps its fingerprint and verdict, so the survivors can be weighed against everything that was tried.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Is this investment advice?

No. Traderly is a software tool. It does not recommend what to buy or sell, and it is not a registered investment adviser or research analyst. You decide whether and how to use it, and you should speak to a qualified adviser about your own situation.

Do you guarantee returns?

No. Nobody can. Investing involves risk, including loss of capital. Backtests and paper trading are hypothetical, and past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results.

Will you trade my account?

Not at launch. We start with research tools, backtesting and paper trading. Any future live execution will run only on your instruction, through your own broker account, and subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Which brokers and markets?

We're building for NSE equities and MCX gold & silver through Indian brokers with official APIs, Binance for spot crypto, and Interactive Brokers for US stocks. Availability at launch may vary by venue.

Broker and exchange names are trademarks of their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

What does it cost?

There will be a free plan. Indicative pricing for paid plans is ₹799/month (Pro) and ₹1,999/month (Trader); final pricing will be confirmed at launch. Your broker's own charges and taxes are separate.

Is my data safe?

For the waitlist we store only your email address and the site you signed up on, use it only to contact you about early access, and delete it on request. We don't sell personal data. Broker connections, when available, will use official broker APIs that you can revoke at any time.
